Kotlite waterfall is located near the town of Godech, in Western Bulgaria. It is a natural phenomenon located on the Nishava River. The waterfall is known for its interesting shape resembling cauldrons, hence its name.
The area around the waterfall is extremely picturesque and offers numerous opportunities for walks and outings in nature. The trails to the falls are well marked and easy to follow as they pass through beautiful woods and meadows.
To reach the waterfall you can follow the following route:
- Head to the town of Godech.
- From the city center take the road to the village of Smolcha.
- Once you reach the village follow the signs to the waterfall.
The trail to the waterfall is suitable for all age groups and does not require special training. The terrain is relatively easy making the falls accessible to families with children and older people.
